We advise patients that CYGNET PCN / Gilberdyke Health Centre Patients will not be booking patients in or offering any further 1st dose COVID Vaccinations due to extremely low uptake over the last few weeks 1st dose clinics.

The vaccines come in vials of multiple doses, once a vial is opened it can only be used for 6 hours, the vaccines have a short shelf life and can only be delivered in large quantities.  The extremely low uptake of appointments in our clinics means it is no longer viable for us to deliver a 1st Dose Service.

We advise all patients still requiring a 1st dose COVID Vaccination to book either by calling 119 or online via the www.nhs.uk website.

We will still be delivering 2nd doses for those patients who have had a 1st dose with us.

If you already have an appointment booked for your 1st vaccine then please still attend.

Covid Vaccine update

We are continuing to vaccinate our patients and are busy administering the second Astra Zeneca and Pfizer vaccines.  We will also be starting to administer first vaccines for those patients under the age of 30.  We are providing this service in addition to our normal running of the practice.  This means we are bringing staff in on a weekend and sometimes vaccinating large numbers of patients at once, this can be logistically challenging at times so please bear with us as we are trying to do this as quickly as possible and this may mean there are occasions where you may be waiting as there will be a number of you arriving at the same time.

Thankyou for your co- operation.
