Triaging System
To cope with the high demand for on the day appointments, the Practice now operates a triaging system. If you require an appointment for that day, our receptionists will take your details and pass them to either a doctor or a triage nurse. You will be called back as soon as possible
It is important you give a contact number as we will only try to call you once.
Emergencies will be seen on the same day but not always by your usual doctor. Please try to phone before 10.00am.
OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICE - Tel 0845 056 8060
When the health centre is closed a message will give you details of how to contact the Emergency Doctors’ Service. Your urgent out-of-hours medical care is the responsibility of East Riding of Yorkshire PCT. Initially a receptionist will take your name, address and basic details of the problem. This information is passed to the doctor who will telephone you. These telephone calls are recorded for legal purposes. You may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
Please only use this service if you cannot wait until normal surgery hours. To ensure that your records are complete, details of out of hours consultations are passed to the practice and are retained in your own medical records, as well as by the provider.
DISABLED
ACCESS
The health centre has been purpose-built and is accessible to disabled patients. There are no steps and the doorways will accommodate any model of wheelchair; please ring the bell for assistance. There is also a toilet for the disabled. A small car park is available for your use.
