HOW
DO I...
MAKE
A COMMENT/COMPLAINT?
If you wish to comment
on any aspect of the service you have received you may speak or write to the practice
manager or one of the doctors.
HOW
DO I... OBTAIN A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?
Repeat prescriptions should be ordered by returning the second part of the prescription with the items required indicated with a tick. If this is not possible they may be ordered by bringing a written request detailing medication and strength required. They should be posted in the repeat prescription box as you enter the practice. These can be posted in an envelope during non-surgery hours. Alternatively, you can:
Telephone between the hours of 9.00am and 2.00pm (extension 3)
Please allow at least 48 hours for processing. During busy periods (eg around bank holidays) it may take 72 hours to process your prescription. Medication can be collected during surgery hours (not between 12 noon and 2.00pm) and between 8.30 and 10.30am on a Saturday morning.
THE TELEPHONE REQUEST SERVICE MAY BE SUSPENDED DUE TO PRESSURE OF WORK OR STAFF SHORTAGES. WHEN THIS HAPPENS YOU WILL BE INFORMED BY A RECORDED MESSAGE.
If this happens please be patient and do not use the alternative surgery numbers. Repeat prescriptions will be monitored regularly and you may be requested to see the doctor for a review. Only one month's supply at a time will be issued. If you are exempt from prescription charges you will need to show your exemption certificate when collecting medicines.
